I stayed at the Swissotel Bangkok on a short business trip. I cam to Bangkok several times before and have stayed at 3 different hotels before including 4 and 5 star ones.
This hotel was chosen because I had to do in that area every day so it was convenient for me to be located more in the North of Bangkok. The Swissotel Le Concorde is a luxurious Hotel that met my expectations in most cases. The rooms were very spacious and wel appointed with modern furnishings. The lobby of the hotel is huge, as is the hotel itself. It all looks very impressive.
One day I went to the nearby shopping cener. There is a Carrefour and a Robinsons shopping center. You get pretty much everything here that you can think of. So although the Swissotel le Concorde is located not really in the city center or very close to the main attractions it is not always necessary to go there as the area has actually quite a lot to offer already. For all other cases you can take the subway that is just a short walk away from the Swissotel Le Concorde. |
