The Swissotel Le Concorde is a bit in the North of Bangkok on Ratchadaphisek Road. It is a very high and big building. Take note that Ratchadaphisek is a nightlife area and that most of the famous Bangkok Massage Parlors are located there. So expect neon lights, and hotel like “amusement” centers. If you have a problem with this you might want to consider another area.
That doesn’t mean it is all bad. There is an abundance of shopping centers in the area including Fortune Tower, which is a computer and electronics shopping center. The subway is just a short walk away and by using it you can easily access the rest of Bangkok. The Swissotel Le Concorde is a great hotel although maybe not 5-star in all areas. I still found the value of what you get at the Swissotel Le Concorde Bangkok to be extremely good. |
