The Guangdong Victory Hotel was great. The location was very convenient as there were lots of things to see by just walking around the area. Many small shops and restaurants are nearby. The staff and service I received was warm and friendly, from my experience not always standard in Chinese hotels. There was a nice restaurant in the hotel that served delicious Dim Sum that was also frequented by many Chinese from outside the hotel so apparently they must be doing something right.
The facilities were a bit of a mixed experience. While the saunas for example were nice, the business center could need a bit of updating. The computers were pretty slow, as was the Internet connection.
Otherwise a great hotel. |
