Baan Hin Sai Resort is a good 3-star resort on Ko Samui. The bungalows were quite nice. The Baan Hin Sai is on Bophut area. Note: I say area because at the Baan Hin Sai there is no beach directly. The area at the water is rocky with no sand. I found it no problem though as I had a motorbike rented the whole time and it is not more than 5-10 minutes to go to the next beach. Samu is not a big island so you getaround fairly quick and easy.
which is close to Chaweng (this is the biggest beach) but it is quiter. I really liked it, it’s a beautiful beach and I don’t need hordes of tourists around me all day long. The Baan Hin Sai is quite and laid back. The staff was friendly but didn’t seem to be too well trained, as was the management. Anyway, for a hotel in this class I found it satisfying although not exzcellent. |
