Staying at the Shangri-La Bangkok was a real pleasure. The hotel is located at the river and quite close to the Oriental Hotel which I would say is the most famous and prestigious hotel in Bangkok. I loved the tranquil ambience in the evening when you are outside next to the river. I much prefer this to being directly in the city. If I wanted to go shopping or sightseeing this was no problem. The next skytrain station is really close and brings yu everywhere quickly.
The Shangri-La is a 5-star establishment and I was not disappointed. Service was great, style and equipment of the rooms excellent. What could you ask more for? |
