I had mixed feelings about the Westin Grande Hotel. Not that it’s a bad hotel. It is an excellent hotel. In the end it has 5 stars. But compared too the 5 star hotels in Bangkok it is not on the same level I think. If I for example compare the Penisula where I stayed before with the Westin Grande, then the latter doesn’t stand a chance.
Maybe the location is a real selling point for this hotel. Definitely very conveniently located. Otherwise I would measure the service and facilities and all the rest into the 4-star category. Still, it can be very much recommended to stay here. |
