Sukantara Cascade Resort is a natural luxury hip boutique hotel of the world. The resort is perfect for private romantic honeymoon as it lies on the sloping bank of a mountain stream in a village away from all the hustling and bustling of the Chiang Mai city. The resort is located in the verdant Chiang Mai highland, 8 km from Tardmok waterfall. Mountain water cascades over boulders in the stream, creating tiered waterfalls right below the Lanna and Balinese style guest cottages of the Sukantara Cascade Resort.
The Sukantara Cascade Resort six Lanna and Balinese style cottages and one suite villa are designed for guests to have an exciting and relaxing stay, while enjoying the nature's beauty. Rooms are filled with amenities to make the stay more pleasurable such as a mini bar, open air bathroom, satellite and cable TV and veranda.
Sukhantara Cascade Resort offers various other hotel facilities such as spa, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam rooms and restaurants and lounges. The resort also allow guests to experience close-to-nature living and many leisure activities near the hotel. Hotel Rooms
Sukantara Cascade Resort guestrooms are designed with Balinese and Lanna or Northern Thai style, surrounded by magnificent landscapes. There are six deluxe cottages and one suite pool villa structure. Guestrooms are made of solid teak wood, the Lanna way, with high ceiling surrounded by beautiful tropical forest scenery. The toilette and the bathroom are separated. The bathroom is open air shaded under leafy trees. Each cottage also has a private veranda, where guests can enjoy the view of beautiful water cascades and lush woods and hear the sounds of bubbling water and birds. All the guestrooms interior and furnishings are made by native craftsman using local designs and materials.
Each room contains a range of amenities such as a mini bar, refrigerator, air conditioner, toiletries and satellite and cable TV. The bed in the deluxe Lanna cottage is king-sized and a hypo-allergenic bedding. View of the waterfall and forest can be seen from the bed.

The Sukantara Cascade Resort was lovely and beautiful. The resort is situated in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai up the mountains in the forest. The breakfast was good and delcious.
