Hotel Overview
With only 25 units, the Baan Deva Montra can provide an extremely personalized service which is why many people prefer to stay here. Also, being a bit outside Chiang Mai city lets you enjoy the quit countryside while still being close enough to the city to also have access to the attractions offered there.
The accommodations available at Baan Deva Montra include 14 Pool Villas and 11 Garden Cottages. Each of the villas has its own 400-800 square meters garden and thus can offer lots of space and complete privacy. Furthermore, Baan Deva Montra has a a swimming pool set in a beautiful tropical garden to provide total relaxation.
Each of the villas has a master bedroom with a choice of king or queen sized bed. Connected to the master bedroom is a outdoor bathtub. The pool villas have one side pen up to the swimming pool. The area around it can be used for relaxing on the sun loungers but it is also ideally suited to have for example BBQ parties or just enjoying your self together with friends.
Many activities can be undertaken in and around Baan Deva Montra including cultural excursions, mountain biking, visiting temples, going fishing or just staring at the stars thatshine as bright here as you have probably never seen it before.

Hotel Rooms
Overall, the Baan Deva Montra has 14 pool villas and 11 cottages that can be rented. The pool villas sit in a 400-800 square meters large private garden and come with a master bedroom that either has a queen size or king size bed in it. One side of the bedroom opens up to a Jacuzzi swimming pool surrounded by ush tropical garden. On the other side of the master bedroom you have an outdoor area attached that features an outdoor bathtub.
The area around the villas and the pool is perfectly suited for relaxing in the provided sun loungers, reading or having a BBQ party with friends. For the latter, all the necessary equipment can be provided by the Deva Montri management.
The Cottages, which are the other units available besides the pool villas, each have their own 800-1600 square meters large garden area and all of them feature a very nice patio from which you can oversee the whole resort. Like the pool villas, the Cottages can be had either with a queen-size or a king-size bed.

Baan Deva Montra features an excellent restaurant that provides numerous dishes for every aste. The cuisine offered specializes on Thai, Chinese and Western specialties. The skillfully prepared food is then served in the setting of a lush tropical garden for the most convenient experience. Menus are changed slightly every week so it is hard to get bored at the Deva Montra restaurant.
The Deva Montra also offers meeting facilities for smaller groups up to 30 persons. For smaller business meetings or private gatherings the Deva Montra can be the ideal location.
Cooking Classes
The Deva Montra Resort & Spa offers cooking classes that teach you how to cook Thai. The owner of the resort herself, Khun Sumalya, teaches the cooking classes and will teach every participant all the tricks and old family recipes that she knows about.

There are many things to undertake in Chiang Mai including trekking, bird watching, excursions into the Northern highlands or mountain biking.

The Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort and Spa Hotel Chiang Mai was nice. The hotel is situated in Hang Dong district so there was some beautiful countryside. The hotel is just 20 minutes from the Chiang Mai City Center away.
