The America Opera is very, very basic hotel. Nevetheless it is kind of cozy and the price tag for this 2 star hotel is low anyway. Downtown Paris is probably one of the most expensive places I have been to so staying at a cheap hotel save a lot of money on my trip.

Was in Paris for 3 days. Baiscally on the road all day lonmg and most nights, too. So no reason to spend a lot of money on a nice hotel room. Now dont get me wrong. The Bastille de Launay is a nice little hotel and rooms are safe and tidy. Just don"t expect anything fancy at a 2 star hotel.
