At the Amaryllis Inn Athens I was satisfied with the general service and also the room I stayed in. Although the living space was quite small but this might be normal in Europe. In the end it is a small 2 star hotel so I didn"t expect to get more than this anyway.

The King Jason Hotel had enough to offer for this category. Nice was that each room has a small balcony, nothing special but it was nice to be able to fully open the balcony slide doors and look outside. Otherwise, the hotel provides a great deal, even broadband Internet access was available.

Book the Amaryllis Hotel if you want a cheap but clean hotel room. It is nothing to write home about but the Amaryllis Hotel provides a place to sleep if you are on a low budget. I found it to be absolutely OK and didn"t find anything to complain about considering what my expectations were.

The Hermes Athens is a no frills deal. You get what you pay for. Room is clean and safe, no complains here. Price is cheap and the hotel is worth every penny you pay. Just don"t expect any extras or a lot of amenities.
